A signed X.509 digital certificate is required in order for SOAP/AM Server to support secure communications with HTTPS. You can get a certificate from a Certificate Authority (CA) such as Verisign or you can act as your own CA using Microsoft Certificate Server or other third-party products.
The Certificate Management feature enables you to create a certificate request which you can send to a CA for signing. Once you receive your certificate, you can install it. Then you can view, renew or remove the certificate.
The 'View', 'Renew' and 'Remove' links will not be shown if you haven't installed a certificate yet.
